The British folks at Land Rover decided to collaborate with the well-known fashion designer, Paul Smith. The result is a bespoke Defender SUV, a one-off car to be more precise.
As you expect, the Paul Smith Land Rover Defender benefits from several styling tweaks. At the exterior, the roof gets a nice touch thanks to the hand-painted bee while the satin finish for the door handles, wheels and side mirrors is also a nice addition.
Land Rover claims that this model has no less than 27 exterior finishes, a big part of these improvements being possible thanks to the company’s Special Vehicle Operations design team.
There are no details about any performance upgrades. However, we did not expect them as this one-off model is built in partnership with a fashion designer, so they’ve focused on the styling.
“With guidance from Land Rover’s Design Director and Chief Creative Officer, Gerry McGovern, he was able to realise his uniquely personal version of this global automotive icon,” says the British company. At the interior, you will see black leather upholstery with blue stitching. The clock at the interior also received the personal touch of Paul Smith.
